The hot sun peared into the sky, with no shade,no wind just the hot sun.But that didn't stop the market from doing it's job. Then Lorrinda walked into the Martketplace. She was wearing jeans, and a blue shirt. She looked toward the walls of the market where spies, gaurds all on the same side.Witch was weird cause usually guards are against spies but not here. She was looking at artifacts, jewels, and animals. She smiled the markets sell beautfiull things.Alot better then home. She notice a few boys they where cute but they didn't seem her type.So she kept walking and saw a man being arrested she turned around and walked away. She stop and looked at a shop where they sold necklaces, and other types of jewel wear.

MUTT WILLIAMS ' You gotta problem with me? Good. [ » ] Seventeen year old Mutt made his way through the large crowd, seeing woman in typical 1930's attire and men wearing suits and black suede shoes with hats to match. Mutt felt, if anything, out of place here but he knew Fleur Rouge was a melting pot if anything. He made sure both his hair comb and pocket knife were right in place, at Fleur Rouge both of them could be the difference between life or death. This place was just crawling with murder and danger, the exact reason his mother, Marion Ravenwood had warned him not to come. Of course, Mutt set aside her phobia and snuck out when his mother was taking a nap and if he read the clock correctly he had two hours of pure freedom. His motorcycle was out of gasoline, and he would have to wait until he got his weekly paycheck to fill it back up again. Mutt had many things on his mind, his mother had suddenly taken interest in the assistance of an Austrian archeology professor to help find his missing father. At first, Marion wasn't sure who sent her the letter but it did not take long for her to discover that Doctor Indiana Jones himself had gone missing in the thick jungle. Marcus Brody had gone with him, a man Marion said many great things about but she never did get the chance to meet him before he went missing. Mutt sat down at one of the local restaurants, and was greeted with an Arabic man dressed in expensive clothing, even for the time it was still considered 'fancy', approached Mutt and asked him if he would be wanting a drink. Knowing much better, he declined his offer and offered a weak smile. The man frowned, anger boiling in his eyes yet he sauntered off without showing his pure frustration. Marion had warned him, people get poisoned here all the time.
[ » ] Mutt thought it'd best be time to leave, at this time of day most of the venders would be closing and the streets would become dark and bleak, not the place you wanted to find yourself at. He quickly fixed up his hair and went on his way, bumping into an attractive woman wearing a plain shirt and a pair of nice jeans. Oh, sorry miss.

"Oh it's alright.I wasn't watching where I was going."She said she looked toward him.And looked over his figure she could easly tell he was a Greaser. But a good looking Greaser though she thought. She then felt a cool wind blow of a sudden."I'm Lorrinda."She replyed as she saw another man getting arrested but was refusing. But kept her attione on him.She saw that he was in a hurry but maybe she could charm him a little bit.

MUTT WILLIAMS ' You gotta problem with me? Good. [ » ] The girl didn't seem to be around here, she didn't show the basic caution to strangers most people do around Fleur Rouge. Mutt knew he had less than two hours before his mother would wake up and she wouldn't be happy at all to find her son gone, and of all places at Fleur Rogue Marketplace. Fleur Rogue meant "Red Flower" in French and it was named so because the group of people who brought the marketplace to London where violently murdered and the killers took white lilies and covered the petals in the merchants's blood. Mutt wasn't sure why, it was just an old legend that was the main reason people always came here with a gun in their pocket. I'm Mutt, nice to meet you Lorrinda. She had a strange name, not like any other girl he had met either in school or one his mothers many friends. Most women were named something simple and plain, like Ruth or even perhaps a Sue or two. Then again, Mutt never spent much time outside the house were he and his mother lived. He had seen this Elsa woman before, her mother talked about her often. She had blond hair, dark eyes and she had a thick Austrian accent to her voice. She came to their house once, responding to a letter sent out by Marion in a desperate attempt to him a missing Indiana Jones. Elsa said Indiana had written her a letter, the exact same one but she didn't discover he wrote it until Marion confirmed she got the same message from him. The woman was twenty, and she seemed almost as if she was the kind of person that went around just begging for a fight. Mutt kept a distance between the two, if his mother barely trusted her then why should he?
[ » ] The month was mid March, which meant the London air was just right. Marion had moved her son closer to where Indiana was currently teaching after a fire destroyed part of the Delhi University where he previously taught a course in archeology.

She listened to him."Mutt."She said with a giggle."That's a cute name."She said.Lorrinda looked to see a group of merchant's looking at them when they passed. She sighed, and thought "Why before Mutt came I felt cold an defenless, but now that I am with him I feel safe, and warm."She knew it was weird to like someone right when you saw them. But there is a saying you can't stop love in the world. And it was true. The guards started to become more cautios now they where on the grounds carrying their guns with them."I bet this is a rough market place."She said and then turned her attione back to Mutt.

MUTT WILLIAMS ' You gotta problem with me? Good. [ » ] He shrugged, his father had said his nickname was diffrent but there was no way he would walk around being called "Henry" he could understand why his dad hated it. Mutt looked over at Lorrinda, as she said that Fleur Rouge was a rough place to be. She obviously hadn't been in a fight here before, it wasn't the situation you wanted to find yourself in. If my mother finds out I came here she'll freak. This place is crawling with people you don't want to meet in a dark alley. Normally his mother wasn't very strict on where her son went, she just tried to let him live out his teenage years without being tied up inside all day long. That all changed, very soon. My mom's been real jumpy ever since my dad went missing, I sure hope she doen't catch me here. He could just see his mother going insane over the fact she had no idea her son was walking around the country's most dangerous marketplace, if not the most dangerous location. The police didn't dare enter the gates, most of them were shot down before they even approached the gates. It was that reason that the government dropped the case back in 1925 when the reports of murder first started to pile up. Mutt read a bit about the case a few years back, he always wanted to investigate for himself. He felt sorry for the unknowning victims of the random murders that took place nearly every day.
[ » ] A man on a dark colored horse was firing his gun into the air, trying to make the large crowd part so he could proceed forward. No one dared disobey him, they all moved out of the way as the strange rider galloped on by with what looked like a bag full of money in his left hand.

"Yeah. My uncle would kill me if he found me here. But I the kind of person who doesn't follow orders very well.....So you look kind of a kid who drives what do you have?Camero,Mustang?"She asked she then noticed a group of guys where staring at them. But then noticed they where eyeing her. Some guys in the town where the worst, and some where the best. But you where to never let our guard down here.It seemed every person you passed was evil,or a merchent.Every item lovely but has it's price to pay, every animal for sale had it's temperment, then it's nature to kill. That was the Marketplace.A cold place to be.

MUTT WILLIAMS ' You gotta problem with me? Good. [ » ] He softly tugged at the cuffs of his jacket. I mean, my mother usually doesn't care where I go but lately she's been acting, stranger than normal. He said softly, trying to remember the strange sequence of events that had happened this fast week. First Marion gets this letter, than she asks Mutt to contact Professor Oxley, and when he says he can't figure out what he message might mean she sent a letter out to anyone she could locate in the local directory. He let out a confused sigh out, the Fleur Rouge didn't bother him much on most days although he noticed a strange feel to the air. The Fleur Rogue was the idea of a French politician who wanted a place where the townspeople could easily locate needed items, for cheaper and easier to access than the marketplace that was ten miles north. Most people had to ride their horses, or drive their carriages since not many people could afford one of those new Ford cars. The travel alone was dangerous, many people cut off the reins on the horses and left the driver stranded, often the desert heat finished him off before more bandits could. No one really knew why London was chosen by the strange merchants, but he did know that a few of the Arabic and French merchants were growing angry with some decisions made by the British Parliament and this marketplace was their idea of revenge. Sort of a Trojan Horse, first taken as a gift it was opened for public use sometime in the mid 1920's. It didn't take long for the true purpose of the marketplace to be unearthed. Mutt's father, Indiana had taken him to the marketplace once to investigate a strange artifact that had been taken from a dig sight in Cairo, the same site Indy had visited that same year in search of the Ark of the Covenant. This was Mutt's third time here, the second time he ran into group of bandit looking people, not much older than Mutt himself surrounded him and threatened to shoot if he dared more a muscle. Marion was not at all pleased when word got back to her about it.
[ » ] He then realized she had asked him a question, if he owned one of this fancy cars he had seen driving around the London University a few times. No, I have a motorcycle but it's not much, sort of old and in need of some major fixing but it's better than walking on foot, I guess.
[LOL, the Mustang wasn't invented until around 1974 I think.]

MUTT WILLIAMS ' You gotta problem with me? Good. [ » ] He checked the time on a clock inside a local dinner, which seemed more like a bar than a diner of all places. He knew he would have to sneak back inside his home, his mother was a very light sleeper and any slight creek in the wood and he'd be dead meat. Sure, and I think my mom's going to wake up real soon so I best be heading home also. Did you have any places in mind? He said, quickly dodging a horse drawn cart full of baskets that were most likely filled with goods, and he wouldn't be surprised if some of those goods were illegal. Mutt figured whenever he got home he'd check out one of those mystery books his mother used to read all the time, they seemed interesting. He also considered sitting in his dad's empty office for a while, and try to put together the messed up puzzle.
[ » ] Mutt gave a relieved sigh, they were nearing the outskirts of Fleur Rouge which was usually a good thing this time of day. No one wanted to be caught here in the dead of the night, it wasn't safe and it sure wasn't smart.

"How about Mirage Lake. 4:00 P.M.?"She asked.Lorrinda sighed this place didn't look friendly at all cause of the spies they have. You must have a death wish if you want to be here at night.Even if you lived here you must want to die.Cause the homes here always get broken into, things get stolen, people get raped. You woundn't want to be here.
