Thames River
Although the locals call this body of water a lake, it was named "Thames Lake" back when a drought had dried up most of the lake's water making it look thinnier than it was during the spring. At Thames you are free to rent a paddle boat, or pay a little bit extra to have a private tour of the area on one of the many boats dotting the shore.

London Zoo and Botanical Garden
The London Zoo and Botanical Garden opened in 1920, and since then it has been a popular place to catch sight of some unique animals, African Lions and Nile Crocodiles just to give you a slight taste. Off to the South, there is a large Garden that is home to many lush plants with bright flowers. Admission is only forty two cents a person, and carriage rides are avaliable for a small fee.
